Children

Children are a vital part of our churches well-being and growth.  Therefore, FUMC offers a wide variety of opportunities for children.

 

During the worship hour, children are invited to come up to the front of the sanctuary for Kingdom Kids, which is a short children's sermon.  Kids of all ages, ages 0 - 100, are invited to attend. 

 

Sunday schools are offered for children ages 2 - 12th grade. 

 

A nursery is available during the worship hour for children ages infant to 4th grade and during the Sunday school hour for children infant up to 2 years old.  The nursery is also available during the different bible studies, classes and activities during the week.

 

COOL (Children Of Our Lord) Kids is a children's program for children 4 years old through the 2nd grade.  Meeting Wednesday evenings at 5:45 pm for Cherub Choir then on to COOL Kids at 6:20 pm.  This program runs from September through April. 

 

Kazoodles is a NEW 3rd & 4th graders youth program. They meet Wednesday nights from 6-7 pm. We plan on digging into our Bibles and exploring them in a fun way. Some of our topics will include: bible basics-learning the books of the bible, the beatitudes, the Ten Commandments, the disciples, etc. The night will consist of a lesson, games and possibly a craft or new adventure.  They meet in room 302 September through April.
