Women
United Methodist Women (UMW) are a group of Christian friends in mission world wide. They are also a willing helper in our local church.
UMW is comprised of an Executive board and several sub-groups. The excutive board, with representatives from all groups, meets monthly to establish policy. The sub-groups, Deborah, Esther, Naomi/Phoebe and Mary, meet monthly for fellowship, missions and devotions.
The Purpose of United Methodist Women (UMW)
The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
