7:00 pm HCI Town Hall Meeting.
Attend a Town Hall Meeting in the Fellowship Hall hosted by the consultation team. Share your
vision and thoughts about Maryville First UMC as we move into the future God intends for us. This
meeting is for a group of members which represent a cross-section of the congregation. They should be
faithful worshipers but not have staff or leadership responsibility.

All church members are invited to attend this workshop, staff (paid and volunteer) and church leaders are required to attend the 10 am to 3 pm session. The consultant team will provide teaching which is designed to move people from maintenance to missional thinking. This is a “MUST MEETING” for as many of you as possible in order that attitudes and commitment to mission can be developed.

UMW Camp Wilderness Day A trip to Camp Wilderness is scheduled by church bus. We will do some mission tasks to help the camp prepare for their summer events. Join us for the day out of town to see the wonderful facilities the Methodist Church has available.
Tuesday, May 22nd
DayTrippers We will leave the church at 10 am and arrive at Allendale for lunch at the Olde Towne Café. Then on to Andrew’s Wool Shop in Grant City. From there, we will head to the Amish Store, south of Redding before heading home.

COOL Kids: 6:20-7 pm, 3rd Floor Classrooms: except room 302 (Sept - March) for those age 4 - 2nd grade The hour on Wednesday for our younger children is intended to provided a safe, secure, encouraging, and predictable environment which encourages them to understand key stories of our faith in fun and age-appropriate ways. We are collecting to purchase animals through Heifer Project International. Children will learn memory verses, hear poetry and sing songs.
Kazoodles: 3rd & 4th Grade Youth: 6 - 7 pm room 302 (Sept - March) Each Wednesday. Third and fourth graders are very adept at retaining what they read and learn. It is the perfect time to introduce them to the practice of regular Bible reading. Participating on Wednesday evenings will provide them a helpful approach toward reading the Bible which will serve them throughout their lifetime. There will also be games and activities to help build relationships and of course have fun! The first few weeks will focus on the parts of the Bible and beginning to learn the books of the Bible.
